README FILE FOR CZAEM: 21AUG2003

CZAEM is legacy software from the EPA Center for Subsurface Modeling Support.
As such, it is provided as is with minimal support.
The user interacts with CZAEM using a command line, or through a command file.
Graphical output is limited to on screen or to a post script or hp laserjet III
printer. You can view and print poscript files to any windows printer using
Ghostview (http://www.ghostgum.com.au/).

To install, place the zip file on the drive you want to install the software,
and double click to unzip. To run the software, double click on the executable
file czaem.exe in the czaem folder.

The printer configuration for CZAEM is done using a batch file from the Command
Prompt windows:

To create postscript files:

Type: "printer portrait" This sets the CZAEM initialization up
to send graphics to a postscript file
                                  (POST.PS) with a portrait orientation.

Type: "printer landscape: This sets the CZAEM initialization up
to send graphics to a postscript file
                                  (POST.PS) with a landscape orientation.

To print directly to an HP laser III compatible printer:
Type: "printer hplaser: This sets the CZAEM initialization up
so that graphics will be printed on
                                  an HP laserjet III.
