     * NOTICE: If you start windows or another menu system from *

                            INSTALLATION NOTES

1. If you are running WhAEM under windows and the programs do not run
or hang the system, try running them under DOS without Windows running.

2. If you installed WhAEM and the programs do not run it may be because
you are running a disk caching program such as SMARTDRIVE. In this
case you could disable the caching program or try to run the programs
in an MS-DOS window within Microsoft Windows.

3. The printer configuration for CZAEM is done using a batch file from
   the DOS prompt as follows:

   To create postscript files:
Type: "printer portrait" This sets the CZAEM initialization up
to send graphics to a postscript file
                                  (POST.PS) with a portrait orientation.

Type: "printer landscape: This sets the CZAEM initialization up
to send graphics to a postscript file
                                  (POST.PS) with a landscape orientation.

To print directly to an HP laser III compatible printer:
Type: "printer hplaser: This sets the CZAEM initialization up
so that graphics will be printed on
                                  an HP laserjet III.

4. If you are using EMM386 with the NOEMS option you can add the NOVCPI
option to this command in your config.sys file. This will speed up
the initialization of the CZAEM program.

5. If you would like to set up Windows icons to run the programs see the
