Biofuels Webinar Series: New Chemicals Program Risk Management Actions, TSCA Section 5 Orders and Significant New Use Rules

Released on April 4, 2022

Join EPA’s New Chemicals Program on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Eastern Time to learn about New Chemicals Program risk management actions, TSCA section 5 orders and Significant New Use Rules (SNURs).

In January 2022, EPA announced an effort to streamline the review of new biobased or waste-derived chemicals that could displace current, higher greenhouse gas emitting transportation fuels.

To support this effort, EPA is offering outreach and training to stakeholders interested in biofuels. This week's webinar is the last in a bi-weekly webinar series that includes reviewing TSCA requirements, outlining the streamlined approaches for risk assessments and risk management actions, and providing information on how to navigate the new chemicals PMN process. Presentation materials from past webinars are available on EPA's website.

Register for this week's webinar.
