Help Spread the Word about EPA’s Safer Choice Facebook Page!

Released on August 22, 2022.

Today, the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) re-launched the Safer Choice program’s Facebook page as part of a broader effort to raise awareness, understanding and demand for cleaning and other products made with safer chemical ingredients.

EPA’s Safer Choice program certifies cleaning and other products like detergents, dish soaps and pet care products containing ingredients that have met the program’s strict safety criteria for human and environmental health. EPA developed the Safer Choice label for cleaners and detergents and the Design for the Environment logo for disinfectants to make it easier for people to find products with ingredients that meet a high standard for human and environmental health.

Help us spread the word about the Safer Choice program and the re-launch of the program’s Facebook page with your colleagues, friends and family:

  • “Like” or share our re-launch post
  • Post about Safer Choice and tag @EPASaferChoice or use #EPASaferChoice
  • Download our shareable Safer Choice graphics
  • Search for Safer Choice-certified products and DfE-certified disinfectants
