Establishment of the Investing in America Signage Required Term and Condition
Notification Date: May 11, 2023
Purpose: This Recipient/Applicant Information Notice (RAIN) informs applicants and recipients of the creation of the term and condition entitled, “Investing in America Signage Required.”
Summary: The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued new Investing in America Signage Guidelines for federal agencies.
EPA has implemented the Investing in America signage requirements through the use of a term and condition. The “Investing in America Signage Required” term and condition requires the use of the Investing in America emblem and links to EPA’s Investing in America Signage website. The term and condition applies to construction projects funded in whole or in part by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or the Inflation Reduction Act.
Action: EPA will include the term and condition as a programmatic term and condition in the award agreement for all applicable grants. Recipients should review their award agreement’s programmatic terms and conditions to determine if this requirement applies. Questions on implementing the term and condition should be directed to their EPA Project Officer.
