Great Lakes Monitoring

  • Great Lakes Monitoring

During the spring and summer, EPA's research vessel, the Lake Guardian, is used to help scientists sample water, aquatic life, sediments and air. Data gathered shows trends in water quality and aquatic life. Researchers are then able to decide the overall health of the Great Lakes ecosystem.
