    Confirmation of your nomination submission will be sent by  Dec 20.  If you have not received confirmation of your submission by Dec. 20 please contact greenchemistry@epa.gov.

  • EPA and American Chemical Society Renew Commitment to Green Chemistry Challenge Awards 

    In May, leaders from EPA and the American Chemical Society agreed to continue their co-sponsorship of the Green Chemistry Challenge Awards through 2029.

Green chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the generation of hazardous substances. The Green Chemistry Challenge Awards promote the environmental and economic benefits of developing and using novel green chemistry.
