  • Versions: 1.0.5 and 1.0.5 Lite
  • Versions: 1.0.4a, 1.0.4b, 1.0.4a Lite and 1.0.4b Lite
  • Versions: 1.0.3a Lite and 1.0.3b Lite
  • Versions: 1.0.3a and 1.0.3b
  • Version: 1.0.2

Versions: 1.0.5 and 1.0.5 Lite

Corrections & Improvements to Prior Versions

  • Links to incorrect cells were fixed. Specifically, links for wet sediment concentrations in Water Body Hg, Water Body C_sed_Hg, and Target C_sed_Hg and links for fraction aqueous and fraction DOC for demethylation were fixed.
  • Separate versions for Mac were no longer necessary, as these versions are Mac and PC compatible. Therefore the “a” and “b” versions were removed.

Versions: 1.0.4a, 1.0.4b, 1.0.4a Lite and 1.0.4b Lite

Corrections & Improvements to Prior Versions

  • An error in the solids balance worksheet was found and corrected. The total fractions of divalent mercury in the aqueous phase were mislinked, and therefore not summing to unity. The mislinks were for the fraction of divalent mercury present as dissolved in the aqueous phase had a link to abiotic solids in the hypolimnion, where it should have been to the dead biotic solids in the epilimnion. Similarly, for fraction of divalent mercury present associated with organic matter, the link was to the partition coefficient of methylmercury and was fixed to go to the partition coefficient for divalent mercury.
  • Releases 1.0.4a and 1.0.4a Lite run on Excel2003 and later systems
  • Releases 1.0.4b and 1.0.4b Lite run on pre-Excel2003 and Macintosh systems.

Versions: 1.0.3a Lite and 1.0.3b Lite

Corrections & Improvements to Prior Versions

  • Contaminated sediment scenarios have been removed to produce a mercury cycling aquatic ecosystem model.
    • Can be used as-is to investigate mercury concentrations in a given system or adapted to study systems with different loading scenarios
  • Release 1.0.3a Lite runs on Excel2003 and later systems
  • Release 1.0.3b Lite runs on pre-Excel2003 and Macintosh systems.

Versions: 1.0.3a and 1.0.3b

Corrections & Improvements to Prior Versions

  • Caught linkage error for demethylation rate constant. Was linking to per day, is fixed to link to per year
  • a-line of SERAFM created to distinguish from parallel b line.
  • Release 1.0.3a runs on Excel2003 and later systems
  • Release 1.0.3b runs on pre-Excel2003 and Macintosh systems.

Version: 1.0.2

Corrections & Improvements to Prior Versions

  • First released through CEAM in October, 2006.
  • Separated Partitioning into sorption to zooplankton, phytoplankton, and organic solids. This was done so that only organic matter settles, not phytoplankton or zooplankton
  • Updated Aqueous Concentrations to be sum of Dissolved/Non-Complexed and Dissolved/Complexed
  • Updated Algorithm for Avg UV Radiation if DOC = 0. If DOC=0, then Avg UV = Incident UV. For hypolimnion, UV = Avg of Layer 1.
  • Defined "Effective Partition Coefficient" for each scenario.

Known Deficiencies

  • Requires MS Excel 2003
