Index to EPA Test Methods

To respond to frequent requests for EPA test methods, library staff in EPA Region 1 developed this methods index as a tool to help locate copies of EPA test methods. This index later became the first printed Index to EPA Test Methods document, which was published in 1988 as EPA 901/3-88-001. The index has been updated periodically to reflect new procedures. The current edition includes about 1600 method references. The index includes only EPA methods and is a reference tool for identifying sources from which methods can be obtained, either free or for a fee.
