StreamCat Metrics and Definitions
Below is a list of the metrics included with StreamCat.
- Metic Name - Short name of variables as stored in data tables.
- Description - Brief definition of StreamCat metric.
- Available AOIs: Variables referenced to as Areas of Interest or AOIs.
- Variables with Cat appended to names are local catchment-level metrics.
- Variables with Ws appended to names are full watershed metrics.
- Variables with Rp100 appended to other AOIs are restricted to 100 meter riparian buffers (not available for all metrics).
- Available Years: Specific years data was gathered for the metric.
- Units - Unit of measurement.
- Data Source - Organization/Source that the metric data is derived/downloaded from, with the date most recently obtained.
