This procedure identifies the steps the U.S. EPA employees will take to respond to suspected or confirmed breaches of personally identifiable information (PII). In addition, this procedure sets out the roles and responsibilities for reporting and responding to PII breaches so that Agency officials, employees and other individuals will be able to respond quickly and effectively to each type of breach and circumstances.
