Description

Skyscapers

Purpose of the Meeting: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as part of its Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program, is researching particulate matter and related atmospheric pollutants in a changing world. In order to understand and adapt to future changes, environmental decision makers need information on the challenge global change presents for protecting the environment and human health; this solicitation seeks research on these challenges. At this meeting, the 13 recipients of grants from the Particulate Matter and Related Pollutants in a Changing World Request for Application (RFA) will present their research plans to EPA scientists. Meeting attendees are welcome to attend a technical workshop of the Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution that will take place in the same location on April 3rd and 4th.
