| Excluded Activities/Other Restrictions | The program does not support projects that focus on recycling, reuse, waste removal or any activity that alters the physical, chemical or biological characteristics or the volume of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant through a process or activity that is not integral to and necessary for the production of a product or essential to providing a service. |

| Typical Award Amount (if applicable) | Individual grant awards are up to $800,000 for the two-year funding period or $400,000 funded per year. |
| Total Awarded Fiscal Year 2022 and 2023 | Approximately $9.38 million in total federal pollution prevention grant funding has been awarded for FY 2022–FY 2023 grants ($4.69 million in FY 2022 funds and $4.69 million in FY 2023 funds). |
| Match Requirement (if applicable) | Fifty percent. Federally recognized Tribes and intertribal consortia that receive a P2 grant award and place the approved workplan into a performance partnership agreement will have their cost share/match requirement reduced from fifty percent to zero. |
