Amendments to the Drinking Water Infrastructure Grants Program as Required by the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act
The Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (WIIN Act) has expanded the activities that qualify for Drinking Water Infrastructure Grant Tribal Set-Aside (DWIG-TSA) funding. Eligible activities now include training and operator certification for operators of public water systems (PWSs) serving American Indians and Alaskan Natives. The EPA issued a memorandum affirming implementation of these WIIN Act provisions.
