Follow these steps to submit required compliance reports.

STEP 1: Review all applicable regulations.

Regulations provide requirements for certification and compliance.

Regulations
Review the following:
  • Final Rule for Control of Pollution from Aircraft Engines; Emissions Standards and Test Procedures
  • 40 CFR Part 1031
    Control of air pollution from aircraft and aircraft engines.
  • 40 CRF Part 1068
    General compliance provisions for highway, stationary, and nonroad programs.

Review selected guidance letters:

STEP 2: Prepare compliance reporting materials.

Download and complete the following:
  • Reporting Template for Aircraft Engine Emissions (xlsx) (697.21 KB, January 2024)

STEP 3: Submit your completed reporting templates.

Every year, completed templates should be emailed to aircraft_engine_reporting@epa.gov
by February 28.
