FY 2024 Availability of Supplemental Funds for Eligible Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Grants
EPA is announcing the availability of an estimated $60 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds to supplement eligible Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund RLF Grants. Eligible cooperative agreement recipients CARs who may request supplemental funds are those that have an open Brownfields RLF Grant that was awarded competitively under Section 104(k)(3) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act CERCLA or that have transitioned to Section 104(k)(3) of CERCLA, and subject to other identified criteria. EPA expects that supplemental funding awarded to existing CARs will advance President Biden's Justice40 Initiative, which aims to deliver 40 percent of the overall benefits from key federal investments to disadvantaged communities. The deadline to submit a request was March 15, 2024.
