Guidance: Using RCRA's Results-Based Approaches and Tailored Oversight Guidance when Performing Superfund Oversight

Transmittal memorandum attaching the Office of Solid Waste's 9/2003 "Results-Based Approaches and Tailored Oversight Guidance" for facilities subject to corrective action under Subtitle C of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Distributed to the Regions to provide additional information in support of Superfund's administrative reform on potentially responsible party (PRP) oversight. Superfund program managers are asked to consider the principles contained in section 111 of the report - "Tailored Oversight" - when developing oversight plans with PRPs for their Superfund sites. Issued 12/22/2006.

Transmitted to the Regions again as part of 1/24/2007 guidance package on Superfund oversight policies.
