  • U.S and Mexico National Coordinators Meeting

    At the September 2024 National Coordinators Meeting EPA and Mexico reaffirmed our commitment to binational cooperation to address our shared environmental challenges along the US-Mexico Border, including the climate crisis and advancing environmental equity.   • Small Grants Competition for Solid Waste Management Projects in the Arctic

    EPA and Battelle are partnering on a small grants competition to enhance the capacity of remote Arctic communities in managing solid waste. Learn more about the competition.

  • Updated U.S. Policy on the Antarctic Region

    On May 17, 2024, President Biden signed a National Security Memorandum on United States Policy on the Antarctic Region.  Under this policy, the United States will continue to lead cooperative international efforts through the Antarctic Treaty System to maintain the Antarctic Region for peaceful purposes, protect its relatively pristine environment and ecosystems, and conduct scientific research, long into the future. Learn more about EPA's Antarctic work.

  • EPA and USAID signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

    On March 26, EPA and USAID signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will allow our two agencies to work more closely together on joint international initiatives, sharing EPA’s experience and expertise with low and middle income countries where USAID operates. Learn more about U.S. EPA and USAID MOU.
