Memorandum of Understanding with the USAID
EPA and USAID have a long history of collaboration, dating back over 34 years. The agencies have worked closely together in Central America under the United States-Central America and Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR), as well as in Southeast Asia and parts of Africa, on areas like air and water quality, waste management, and marine plastics pollution.
