ERG, a contractor for EPA, announced the external peer review meetings associated with the draft IRIS Toxicological Review of Perfluorohexanesulfonic Acid (PFHxS) and Related Salts (External Review Draft). The peer review meeting organized by ERG will take place virtually via Zoom. Members of the public are invited to attend as observers. A limited amount of time is set aside for oral public comment near the beginning of the peer review meeting on the first day.

Publication: Advances in Dose Addition for Chemical Mixtures: A White Paper (Final Report)
EPA announced the release of the final report, Advances in Dose Addition for Chemical Mixtures: A White Paper, which describes current EPA practices associated with dose additive methods for human health risk assessments of chemical mixtures. It discusses challenges associated with the use of toxicological information and individual chemical dose response information when applying dose additive methods and considers the potential for future applications of dose addition that take advantage of kinetic and dynamic data generated from new approach methodologies.
