Chelsea Weitekamp, Ph.D.

Chelsea Weitekamp is a biologist and Assistant Center Director for Research Translation and Program/Regulatory Support in the Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior, and her B.S. from the University of Florida in Natural Resource Conservation. Chelsea has studied the social lives of fish and ants, contributed to assessing health risks from exposure to environmental chemicals, and now supports stakeholder groups in using tools and databases developed to inform hazard and risk assessment decisions using New Approach Methods.
