Fact sheets related to the Northern Abandoned Uranium Mine (AUM) Region, which has 229 abandoned uranium mine claims. Of these 229 mines, funds are available to begin the cleanup process at 121 mines, approximately 53% of the mines in the Northern AUM Region.  This includes mines from the following settlement agreements: Tronox Mines, Trust Mines, and Cyprus Amax and Western Nuclear Mines.
